So I have this theory… Men can multitask. Ok, ladies just wait a second. You guys should do the same.

Think for a minute, about your kitchen stove. Four burners, mostly different sizes. Big burners in the front, little burners in the back. Putting a little pot in the front would result in overflow while big pots in the back will not do anything.

Women:

They have at least a four burner stove. They change out their pots. Some of the contents they serve up to others, other contents they can, some contents they even put in a freezer proof container for long term storage. Women are worried about the flavor and appearance. Even letting things sit for a while, before presenting and consuming and giving away.

Men:

Men’s brains are the same four burner configuration. We only have four burners and no upgrades! Each burner has a pan of something going on it. For most men three, if not all four burners always have the same pans on them. (I’ll let you decide what those pans are full of.) We don’t change the pans out. We just keep adding to the pots as things are cooked off. Sometimes what we add helps the flavor, other times it completely changes what is in the pot. Whereas women are concerned with the flavor and appearance, men just like to eat, who cares about long term storage!

Summary:

Why the fifth burner? Because some time ago, as all my burners were going full blaze, pots bubbling over, contents burning on the stove, I said to On Fire "I don’t know what to do… I can’t remove any of the pots but I need some more things cooking…" We (I’m not sure whether it was On Fire or I) decided that I needed to add a fifth burner. Guess what guys… God can do it!

Oh, and William Tyndale won. (I was pulling for him myself.) I stopped and gathered my resources last Friday, now I just need the time to read it and write it out. I have a feeling one of my pots is going to have an old world, Bible reformer flavor added to it pretty soon.
Have a great day!
